Advantages of Broken Stone Ballast

  1. Stone ballast fulfill almost all the requirements of an ideal ballast.
  2. The minimum cushion is required.

Disadvantage of Broken Stone Ballast

  1. The initial cost is high.
  2. Angular shape injuries wooden Sleeper during packing.
