Recommended Design Speed on Urban Roads

Following are the recommended design speed on urban road for arterial roads, sub arterial roads, collector street and local roads.

Recommended Design Speed on Urban Roads

A. Arterial Road – 80 km/h
B. Sub arterial Road – 60 km/h
C. Collector Street – 50 km/h
D. Local Street – 30 km/h.
